As always Arlid makes a good point about the cost of doing boats to class and
the advantages but for a new build one option is to have the boat built to
    rules and not to class.
I did this awhile back on a 95 foot M/Y and the process is about the same You
still need to get all of the drawings approved and You still have all the
construction inspections but it saves about 25% of the total cost of doing it
    to full BV class.

Its also important to remember that some classes are really easy to comply
with RENA, NSCV< Et and others are much more extensive and expensive.

In Australia they have the started the practice of using AS/NZL rules for the
electrical systems and many of the dealers now opt to have new boats built to
the full NSCV rules this would make the boat the same as any commercial
vessels built to class with all the inspection approvals ET. the cost of doing
this on a 75 might be as low as 75,000 - 100 depending on the builder.
