Subject: Re: T&T: Vacuflush Cycling
"The clear consensus is that there is leak that needs to be fixed- I should get
many hours or even days without cycling."
Having installed?and trained dealers in VacuFlush Installations the leak down rate that is acceptable is 3.5 hours. A good rate would be 10 hours and these are usually tested with a Vacuum Tester. It is possible to have a system that will hold vacuum for weeks, it depends on the installation. Anyone on the list who would a Vacuflush Installers Guide I will be happy to e-mail you one. The maunaul is about 35 8X10 pages long, in other words a fairly large file. The Installers guide is the field manual for installers and includes a troubleshooting guide.
Uniseals usually leak because of a canted hose that is unsupport going into the Vacuum Generator, but there can be a number of other issues that are hard to diagnose.
