I had a maddening leak on my vacuum generator after replacing all the
duckbills. It was the PVC elbow and the seal called a uniseal. However my
instructions said to install the seal dry with no grease at all. It was hard but I did
it and solved the problem.
The factory does, however, say that a cycle every couple of hours is normal.
Mine don't do that and I wouldn't put up with one that did.

My vacuflush will hold a vacuum for a week or more if you turn it off and let
it sit. If the bowl is holding water then you might want to take a look at
this.
The time I did have a leak it was on the vacuum tank where the discharge of
the toilet goes into the vacuum tank. The 90 degree PVC elbow that connects
to
the sanitation hose and inserts into the tank is sealed with a rubber grommet
that is in the vacuum tank wall. This grommet is supposed to have a thin
film
of water proof grease applied to it before inserting the PVC fitting in it.
Mine was dry either from age or the installer skipped this step.

says this meets factory specs. Seams unreasonable. Any opinions on this?>
