I have seen a good supply at truck stops, sporting goods stores, Wal-Mart,
and marine stores. I bought a 12v coffee maker a couple of years ago and I
found that it took forever to make coffee and it never really seemed to
"perk" properly. It has spent it's life on a garage shelf.
I wonder if a small inverter would operate a coffee maker?
Alternatives would be to toast in a fry pan, coffee in an old percolator on
a cooktop...mine is alcohol/electric or whatever you have for cooking
aboard.
