Greetings -
We are tired of messing with Cetol every year and are looking into paint.
One yard has quoted us as follows:
"ENTIRE TOE RAIL WOULD NEED TO BE STRIPPED & SIX
COATS OF SMITH'S PENETRATING EPOXY WILL BE
APPLIED. TOE RAIL WILL THEN BE SANDED WITH 150
GRIT SANDPAPER & THREE COATS OF 545 EPOXY PRIMER
WILL BE APPLIED. TOE RAIL WILL THEN BE SANDED WITH
320 GRIT SANDPAPER. THREE COATS OF AWLGRIP WILL
BE APPLIED BY SPRAY"
Does anyone have experience with this method of application and build-up and
its longevity?
Regards,
John
