I know it's a hard number to get your arms around and to actually say it but
fuel is 1/10 of the cost you quote above Larry!
Make that US$0.035 or 3 1/2 cents per gallon :-)
Water here is free but in the Eastern Caribbean it can range from 12 to 20
cents per gallon.
Rum in Venezuela is ~6000 B's or ~$1.25 a bottle. Local Vodka which I just
bought is 12,500 B's or ~$2.50.
No worries about the politics...we can always walk with our props/keels.
It's a 20 hour drive from here to the snow line in the Andes ;-)
