What a timely post. My dock mate today anchored in McCovey Cove and when he
went to start his engines only the port Cat would fire up. He was able to get
back on the other engine and we used his dink to help make the turn into the
    slip.

His mechanic showed up an thinks that the ECU went bad. The boat is a 2003 46'
    AZIMUT.

It makes me like my like my old non electronic, cable operated, twin Perkins
    much more.
