Marin posted: ".. I'm just saying that assuming both engines in a twin will
usually have problems at the same time due to fuel is not a smart
    assumption..."

I've been meaning to ask a related question here for a long time: For twin
engine installations using a common fuel supply manifold, what are the
manufacturers recommendations on use? Can you in fact draw fuel from multiple
tanks simultaneously?? In other words, what do instructions say about feeding
from dual tanks..or perhaps three tanks simultaneously....I'm thinking here
about the manifolds used on many far east trawlers...

My own Hatteras has multiple valves at one spot, but not a common manifold,
for connecting engines to tanks in various configurations, and also
separately, the return lines, but does NOT provide for multiple tank feeds
    simultaneously....
