My friend and I want to charter a trawler for a week or so to cruise USVI
and BVI areas. I would really appreciate some good recommendations as to
who to arrange the charter with.

    Some facts:

We are both pretty flexible for the May-July time frame

We prefer a trawler (no sail)

We are both experienced as boat owners in the 40' range and members of the
U.S. Power Squadron, etc.-so this would be a bareboat charter.

We have both spent time in St. John-mainly on land; but have a combination
of 10 trips or so between us. My friend knows the good anchorages.

Prefer a Grand Banks 36 or 42-consider others. Dink a must. Well
    maintained boat a must.

So who is the best in the area? Who has any personal experience with this
type charter? Do they get you on the provisioning cost, etc?

    Any help appreciated.
