The good thing about this pump is that the motor slows down when it sees
restriction in the system. The other pumps that are not variable speed just
continue to run at the same pace. Causing rapid cycling and therefore the need
for an accumulator.

Guess this answers the question of why they do not suggest the use of an
accumulator in the system.
