For cleaning the bowl, I use Raritan's CP (cleans potties). Works very well and won't damage any of the components. Don't use any type of household cleaner or bleach. Vinegar is great for keeping the lines clean, but don't let it sit in the mechanism of the toilet very long. It can damage the rubber / elastomer parts.

The best thing we found was a cup of vinegar. Close off the valve to the
holding tank (where the head drains into the tank) at night before you hit
the rack. Dump in a cup of vinegar and let it sit over night. It will
clear up all the crystals that form because of the salt water and urine
mixing. We used it about once a week for 6 years after Bob had to clear a
line when we were at B&B Seafood and no place to get a replacement line.
Then we learned from another boater about vinegar. Wonderful stuff!
