I have the same radio. I checked voltages and grounds, cleaned connections
and reseated all the chips etc. Try tuning the radio to a local AM radio
station. If that does not come in clear. Pack up the radio and the tuner and send
it back to SEA. I recently sent mine in and was very happy with the results.
