    Go to David Pascoe's website here: http://www.yachtsurvey.com/ If you have
    the time, read everything but, most especially, read the article on bilge
    pumps. Pumps generally are flow rated at zero head. Each foot the water is
    lifted reduces flow. For Cigano, I used the tables in DP's article and
    handicapped the pumps accordingly. I installed 3 x Rule 3700's as emergency
    pumps with a Rule 1100 as a general workhorse and maintenance pump. Still
    thinking about adding another big AC bilge pump.
