    I am partial to boats that are powered for economy but have some reserve
    power when needed. 420 hp for a 39' boat is excessive to me, but many
    others think different. As they say, different strokes....

    I wonder if the fuel consumption had anything to do with the repo? :>)

    I am still looking at boats. The latest one is a 39' Trawler with twin
    Cat 3208 diesels. Can anyone give me a guess at what kind of fuel
    consumption per hour at 8-10 kt. Cruising Speed. It is a repo so I
    can't ask the owner. THanks
