    Absolutely true! However they are far, far from being your only options.
    You are clearly talking to the wrong brokers.

    A full time cruiser, quite obviously, is someone who does not have a slip
    contract for any extended period, and is underway to someplace new, say 1/3
    of the time.

    A liveaboard is someone who has a permanent mooring address, and a job or
    other obligation that keeps him tied to one spot most of the time. The
    companies generally think of a liveaboard as someone who is living aboard
    instead of in an apartment or house, with no other substantive changes in
    lifestyle.
