    Tom,

    your layout sounds like a great candidate for using air to help drain
    the lines...

    Knowing there is a manifold, a "t" just up stream of it could be used
    to pipe low pressure air to each supply line one at a time, until the
    sound changes. It could also be used to blow the water out upstream.

    My one and only year that I used the pink stuff had the Admiral
    complaining almost the entire following season.

    LP air solved the winterization problem, and the next season, there
    were no water system taste complaints...
