    I so agree, its October and it still stinks! I only use it for showers &
    dish washing, but it's still very annoying.
     
    This season, I am going to properly drain my water heater & blow air through
    it & the entire system, as I am so fed up with the "almond" stench of the
    red stuff. I always use way way more than I need, but it is such cheap
    prevention as opposed to a freeze up.
     
    But its just too nasty! I will only use it on the raw water side of the
    engine.
