The pink non-toxic alcohol type antifreeze has a sweet smell and the admiral
complained about the smell for a month. Our friends had the marina do their
boat and had the same complaint.

I used may be 4-6 gallons to flush the fresh water system by pouring the
pink stuff into the water tanks which were empty then ran the pump to the
water heater and the heads. (do not use this stuff in a lecrasan, it kills
the electrodes) In the spring I flushed the tanks (250 gallons) four times
and still had the sweet smell. Our friends flushed and added some water tank
flush cleaner and the water still had the smell.

As winter draws near, I don't want to drag Mr. puffy down to the boat to
blow all the lines with air, its so much easier and safer to add the pink
crap. Anyone have a rinse I could use in the spring to kill the Poly stuff
    from the tanks and lines?
