    Kevin:

We just came back from cruising the Gulf Islands in Canada. Whilst there,
running north through Sansum Narrows, I noticed my Garmin GPS had misplaced
Burial Rock by about a quarter of a mile. This rock is nearly island sized,
and well marked, but when we were north of the rock, the GPS showed it ahead
of us.....I pilot by paper, so this just reinforced my distrust of the
electronic box. We do not have the Canadian charts loaded, and were using
what Garmin had loaded if this makes a difference, or maybe it was a WAAS
    thing.

Also misplaced was the submerged reef just south and east of Burial Rock,
and this one can take the bottom off ones boat.
