where can I get a replacement amber bulb for my 1983 vintage newmark 12
    volt panel??

    REPLY: George,

I was having trouble finding amber panel lights until I ran across them
    at a place
in Ft Myers called Marine Trading Post. They have a web site but I would
    call them
at 800-997-0629 and talk to someone. It is kind of a old store with
    stuff and shelves
all over the place. You have to root through stuff to find what your
    looking for. I discovered
three boxes of these lights which fit a 3/8" hole have two 6" leads to
    connect with. They had
    12VDC and 120VAC Red, Green, Amber, and I believe I paid $1.50 a piece
    for them.
I bought 20 Amber 12VDC and 20 Green 120VAC and replaced all the
    indicator lights
in my panel at the same time. That was two years ago and a few have gone
    out and need
replacing again. I have been looking at LCD's try
    www.superbrightleds.com they have good prices
and I am thing about going LED's on the next replacement.
