We are planning to do the great loop starting as early as a month or two
from now or as late as leaving Florida next April. We are looking at
trawlers 36-40 feet under 90 thousand. I know that the best time to buy is
when you find the right one but in general is the Florida market softer in
the summer than in November? We could buy now but the inability to get
insurance and therefore going bare or moving the boat north this summer
doesn't appeal very much. Unless the market allows a far better deal now. I
guess this might be asking if the Dow is going up or down but here in the
Pacific Northwest Boat sales start to really slow down about this time of
year and bargains galore in September. I thought there might be a general
rule for the SE market as well. Any thoughts?
