Thanks to everyone who had comments on my lightning strike. According to the surveyor, he felt that I had a near strike and not a direct strike. One of my dockmates saw the 'ball of fire' just 50 yards or so from the boat, so that also was part of the conclusion of a near miss.
I now have to replace two depth finders, a ac/dc tv and DVD combo, battery charger for three banks of batteries, fresh water pump, gps, vhf, internet modem, cable wiring, 2 surge protectors. It could have been worse, that's for sure.
