    Hi all.......

In preparation for our trek southwards, I had thought to rescreen our
windows with 20x20 mesh fiberglass screening in order to keep out the no-see-ums.
Have researched and googled screen products and am now thoroughly confused:

-seems that the 20x20 is indeed the proper size, but being smaller would
necessarily restrict airflow. But, by how much? Does the smaller mesh make
that big of a difference in the amount of cooling breezes that can be enjoyed?
How about visibility through the screening?

-I was thinking to use the fiberglass mesh product, just from ease of
installation and lasting good looks. Called to talk with our local provider of
materials, and she wanted to talk me into 18x16 stainless. Comments?

-Am I overthinking this issue -- how much of a problem will no-see-ums and
smaller insects be through Mexico and Central America? We like to anchor more
than be in marinas, but will from time to time be tied up to a dock.

Help! I need the wisdom of those of you who've been there, done that.

    TIA
