T&T: Macerator vs. non-macerator pumps

    I believe the above is true (I installed the new Jabsco pump instead of the
    Sealand pump because it fit better in my situation but they both are diaphragm
    pumps). However, a word of caution: the outlet hose is bigger than on a
    macerator pump so I had to install a larger thru-hull. This was not an
    inexpensive project. (I can just see the next post on how to replace a
    thru-hall while the boat is still in the water!)
