Like John and Karen I am also shipping my vessel but from Hong Kong to
Ensenada. I contacted 15 different firms including Yachtpath. In the end I
chose Dockwise - price and schedule were the deciding factors. I also liked
the idea of driving Alchemy on and off the carrying vessel rather than
having her lifted by a crane. Additionally I have a very good friend who
has shipped two boats from Asia to the US and in both cases he encountered
additional charges at the off-loading port. In one case it was in excess of
    10k.
My boat is scheduled to be loaded in early July (two weeks later than the
original date give me) and will arrive in Ensenada in mid-August. The
Dockwise vessel will be making calls in Brisbane and Auckland on the way to
Ensenada. I will be making the trip with her which was a plus but not a
    deciding factor.
I will write about my experience when the trip is finished.
