It looks like a small tennis racket, takes two aa batteries, and has a
metal
mesh. When a fly touches the racket, it zaps them, killing them instantly!
This is the "zapper" I mentioned in the discussion about mosquito netting.
Work great on yellow jackets buzzing about your food, and drinks. We clear
the boat of mosquitoes after closing up in the evening so we are not
maddened by the buzzing in our ears.
I thought everybody knew about these wonderful 'toys'...we were first
introduced to them at Ganges Harbour (BC) a number of years back, when
coming in we noticed at least on in action on every occupied cockpit dealing
with the incessant yellow jackets. They are about C$2.00 at the Ganges
hardwarestore.
