We have used a dark bamboo folding chair we found initially at import store
on our boat that is inexpensive (about $40-50 each or so) and they are among
the MOST comfortable folding chairs I have ever sat in and we tried out a LOT
and had even purchased others previously. It might give you chance to see
how they fit and work for your space.... _www.presalesinc.com_
(http://www.presalesinc.com) sells them in sets of 4. They have stood up well on the
boat and stack upright securely without falling over due to slight curve to
back (which is also why they are comfortable). The company sells many
other types as well but people have liked these and I can sit in them for hours
without being uncomfortable which is not true of most wooden or metals ones I
tried. They are cheap enough to replace if problems but many have
lasted over 4 years in charter situations. They will take a bit more space
than a standard flat folding chair but the comfort is worth it and most people
really like their looks on a boat with all our high varnish wood interior.
