First of all, no matter how good the Tundra is, it probably will help it
    to put in the fan.

When I put these fans in to help ventilate anything, (inverter, computer,
icemaker) I always control them with a simple "cool only" thermostat that
I buy at a local a/c supply house for about $15. I set it at 90 degrees
so it doesn't have to run all the time, just when it's needed. Had one on
the cabinet that my inverter is in for almost 6 years and it's still
    working fine.

      1. Is it worth installing the fan? and if so,
      2. Is it worth installing an on-off switch for the fan?
