Subject: Re: T&T: Prescription Drugs for vessel master?
In the early 70's I was anchored in St. Thomas Harbor when the Pilot boat Slammed into my boat I was below, about five heavily armed men jumped aboard screaming DEA. They put me in the cockpit and proceeded to tear the boat apart. They found my medical kit and arrested me for two vials of Demerol. I was a British Regesterard Vessel and had a doctor in Tortol give me persciptions for a list of mediines in a cruising book. I was thrown into the Fort a prison built in the 1500's. After three days the judge let me out and I had to take the ferry to tortola to get a letter from the doctor. In his letter the doctor said that I had had the demerol for a year, not used it nor sold it thought arresting me was stupid. The Judge gave me back my boat and I pulled the hook never to return to St Thomas.

Never heard that one. Just go to your doctor, tell him what you need and
why, and he'll probably write the scrips for you, then just get filled at a
pharmacy. An alternative is to head to another country and get them OTC
there. Mexico sells lots of stuff over the counter that needs a scrip here.
You could also order through some of the online pharmacies.
