Ken,
I know of your prowess in the e world and have a question I've been
trying to answer. I own the wireless bridge offered by BBX. When in BBX
country it works fine... (well it works most of the time). The problem is I
can not use the bridge to connect to another service (without going through
the gymnastics to re-configure it to a known network, and for me that is not
that easy). The question then being: Is there hardware/software that
enables me to view the wifi landscape, identify a potential hotspot, and
connect to it via a wireless remote laptop/pc while utilizing my external
antenna and amp? (I currently use the bridge to capture the signal and run
it into a linksys to make it wireless.)
