    Hi,

I recently purchase my first boat, a 1982 Tri Cabin Hershine 37' and am
having a ton of fun taking it out into the SF bay, anchoring overnight,
possibly living aboard down the road as well. Now I'm thinking about
getting a Dinghy for her and well.. I know next to nothing about them.

Do I go inflatable, RIB, fatty knees? I just don't know.

    I'm not a small guy, 6'1", 295lbs, so I think I'm leaning towards a RIB with
a motor. I'd like to be able to hoist it up when not in use while at the
slip. Any recommendations on buying new, used, hoists, brand names, motors,
web sites to check out would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, and this list is fantastic for a newbee like me.

    Thanks much!
    -kris
