    Dave,
Designed and built by Charlie Morgan. Charlie started Heritage Yachts after
he sold Morgan Yachts (to Beatrice foods!?) and after his unsuccessful
America's Cup campaign. He named the company after "Heritage", the 12 meter
he designed and built (out of wood). The WI 36 was their only power boat.
Originally powered by the Perking T6-354, 165 HP diesel. They also built 38
and 46 sailboats, many for the charter trade. The WI 36 isn't to be confused
with the Heritage East 36 which is built in China.

List contributor Capt. Sterling has one so perhaps he will chime in if he's
    not out cruising.

    Regards,
    Randy Pickelmann
