Good news also is that 1999-2000 would be the last of these engines, with
all of the refinements to the engine being in the last ones built; they built
the engine forever; these are mechanical, old school diesels; they smoke when
you start them; engine block or Wolverine heating pads will help a lot; but
that's the reason they don' t make them anymore, the new stuff is all
electronically managed and common rail injection technology. They can be repaired
anywhere. Parts are everywhere. JWH
