It's sounds like your boat probably gained weight incrementally over the
last 14 years; battery banks; personal possessions, it all adds up. You are
"overpropped" and need to take some pitch out and maybe some diameter as well.
You want to prop for 50 rpm over max rpm. Should spin everything back up. Prop
people can do this easily; there is also a calculator on "Boatdiesel.com" that
will tell you if you when you are in the neighborhood of pitch, diameter,
and maybe cup. JWH
