Dennis: I am not sure of which MT model you have looked at. I have a 1979
44' DC MT and the HIN # is below the swim platform on the lower starboard
side.. It should start with 3 letters like "ETY" and then numerals for the
length,hull # and date of build. Regards. Leonard Stern, INDIFFERENCE
PS The 3 letters "ETY" is the yard that the boat was built.
