    Hi All,
I would like to see a discussion about electrolysis and locating the source
of same. I recently hauled my boat for bottom work and the zincs were very
worn. They had been replaced about 6 months ago, and also 6 months previous
to that. The even prior zincs lasted 18 months. I have made no major
changes electrically, all of my thru hulls are bonded, and I reaffirmed
this, and I use a galvanic isolator. My bilges are dry, and no electrical
battery cables awry or in bad condition. I have 2 dock neighbors that have
moved in about 1 year ago. My question is, How can I determine the source
of electrolysis? I don't want to falsely accuse my neighbor although one of
them has a very bad situation in the engine room battery and wiring and
    housekeeping wise.

    Thanks,
    Jim
