Hi Dale,
We spent a couple of months in the North Channel last year. The best resource that we found was Great Lakes Cruising Club www.glcclub.com.
Their books (4 large binders), allowed us to visit some very tight anchorages (Pilots Cove, Fox Island, etc).
Well worth the money.
Enjoy your trip,

Subject: T&T: North Channel of Lake Huron
Looking for anchorage recommendations for the North Channel of Lake
Huron. Lat/Lon preferred as I would like to add them to
ActiveCaptain.com
If you don't have Lat/Lon, I can also try to locate them as best I can
from a description. I'll be headed that way early summer.
Thanks.
Dale Klahn
