How dare you lump Willard in with them others! {:*)) Willard doesn't know
what a chopper gun is. Willard are truly overbuilt out of the right
materials. Unfortunately, the pleasureboat division is no longer as they are
completely devoted to Homeland Defense and DOD orders.

    | I'm surprised that Bob Austin hasn't weighed in on this one since he owned
a Cal 46 motorsailer once. If memory serves me correctly, Meridian Trawlers
were built by one of the sailboat manufactures located in, and around; Santa
Ana, Southern California. I believe it was Jensen Marine trying to
diversify from their Cal line of sailboats. They also tried small
motorhomes. Imagine, Columbia, Coronado, Cal, Erickson, MacGregor
sailboats, and Willard all being built behind the orange curtain in Orange
County, California. Those were the days for the local chopper gun jockeys.
