Not to make excuses for gouging BUT if one were to change the oil on the
Twin Disk by the book" i.e. remove the drain plug, on my boat it would be
very difficult for all but a midget. Also there is a screen on the Twin
Disk that is recommended to be changed, again not easy on my boat.
Re: Cummins oil filter and plastic bags. I found my filter seemed to be
siphoned down sufficiently so splillage was not a problem. This seemed to
be in less than a half an hour. Is mine different ?? Or do you get yours
off right after shutdown??
