            Thanks to the list for all the great advice on dock lines. It looks
    like the over-whelming preference goes to 3 Strand New England ropes!
            Also thanks for the input re flea markets. The only problem here in
    Asia is that if I go looking for things at what would be the equivalent of a
    flea market, the only thing I will come back with is fleas!!!
            I received some interesting replies about rope length and also the
    virtues of cleating off on the boat versus the dock.
              If any one has additional insight on this, it would be interesting
    to hear!
