There are several P&S type digital cameras with a Bluetooth connection to a
computer. One of these used in video mode might suffice. However this is an
    expensive option.

The maximum reliable range of Bluetooth is about 30 ft. It is intended only
as a replacement for cables to printers, earphones, and other devices used in
the vicinity of a computer. The range is shorter when transmitting through
walls or bulkheads. For a reliable connection the best idea would be to hard wire
the camera to the display. There are some longer range camera to computer
connections but they cost substantially more bucks.

Just another thought. You could connect almost any web camera or camcorder
with digital output to a wi-fi router and have a range of several hundred feet
to a wi-fi equipped laptop. If you use a Mac, Apple's Airport would be ideal.
Of course you would have to arrange a suitable power supply.

The best source of information about rear view cameras is in the RV
literature. Rear vision is a chronic problem with motor homes. Check with any large RV
warehouse or look RV rear view cameras up in Google.
