About two years ago after I patched a leak in my dinghy I realized there was
about 20 lbs of water trapped in the tube! Since then I have been using the
dinghy with no apparent problem except when I lift it I can hear water sloshing
around inside. I've been waiting/procrastinating to address the "problem"
expecting to put another hole in the tube so that it can drain. Imagine my delight
to find out that all I need to do is inflate the tube with Nitrogen. But then
again that moisture should not deteriorate the interior of the Hypalon any
more than the water on the outside! I guess I can put off addressing the
"problem" a little longer.
