Bob,
Yes, the 1.5" head hoses have spirals, but I think they are made of a
memory plastic and not wire.
I too have gotten blisters trying to fit one of those hoses on a new
Raritan. That will never happen again.
Instead of fighting the spiral hose, soften it with a heat gun and it
becomes a pussycat. Wish someone had mentioned this before.
