It so happens that YouTube has a fair number of videos about HAM radio.
I haven't found any that are targeted specifically at marine use, but if
you are not a HAM and have been thinking about it, this is one place to
find some video material that will explain some of what it's all about.
If anyone runs across marine related ones, let me know. I have started a
PlayList of Amateur stuff where I intend to focus on material of
interest to mariner's, and will be adding to it.
Suggested tags to search under: SSB, HAM, AMATEUR or similar ones.
If you've had a bad day with the boat and would like to attend a Tuxedo
party, you might try this video to start. On the other hand, if you are
afraid of high places, this video should be avoided. The pane on the
right will have a list of other HAM related videos. These pointers
should be enough to get you started.
