    Pretty simple really. It takes longer to get where you're wanting to go if
    it's against the wind or current. Therefore more than 50% of the time spent
    boating will be in these unfavorable conditions. Unless you plan your
    departures accordingly that is. Or unless you speed up in the unfavorable and
    slow down in the favorable conditions. We try to do that and plan departures
    whenever possible.
