Thanks to all who responded on and off line to help me find the
Toadster and its specifications. I checked out their site and it seems
that it would be a simple matter to build the device.
The physical model I saw was made of 2" PVC, not 3", so it may have
been home made. I'm not sure whether the additional strength of the 3"
tubing is essential for a dinghy weighing in around 350 to 400 pounds.
Any comments.
Anyway, I am going to build one myself for less than the cost of
shipping the original Toadster. Martin Veiner
