I have the 1930 which has similar specs as the 1832 - only older and no
longer available. The previous owner had it installed three years before I
bought it, so it is at least 11 years old.
It has worked just like a new one, with no problems. It still can pick up
birds flying in the air or ducks in the water. Great resolution. Easy to
tune and operate. I would go with Furuno without hesitation.
