I just hung up with BoatUS. They tell me that they are not insuring anyone
with a loss in the last 3 years. No quote, no liability.................no
nothing. We lost our first boat in Hurricane Francis so we have a big
bullseye painted on us. They quoted me very high a couple of years ago when
other quotes came in very reasonable. I guess BoatUS is an advocate to some
in other states and in other ways, but for us they have been a little lean
on being a boating advocate for us in Florida.........at least in the
insurance end of things.
