Tom: Could anyone please suggest or recommend a marina along the Texas Gulf coast for long term use?
Tom The best deal is the Baytown Marina next to the 146 bridge over the San Jacinto river dba the Houston Ship Channel. Much cheaper than Clear Lake, great facilities, good people. It is a straight shot to the inter coastal and near Clear Lake. I have stayed every where on the Texas coast from Sabine Lake to Port Isabel. I now use Dickinson Bayou when in the Houston Area and Port Isabel in the winter. Bought lots with deep water docks. My last marina was Baytown. It gets my vote for best bang for the buck, liveaboards welcome, small surcharge.
