Snip;" I may have to replace my 8D's in my boat. Anybody used or have
direct info on how well the Rolls, component batteries function. I know
they areexpensive, small light wt components, but how do they hold up?"

I have had Rolls batteries in three boats over the years and they have been
good workhorses. They have a long guarantee as well. You can now get the
divided cells which if you have the headroom are light and easy to replace
and install. I recommend using Hydrocaps which have resulted in my only
needing to add water once a year.
